Description

True Temper XCore senior hockey stick

True's engineers have developed a design process that reflects perfection and builds on two decades of experience in manufacturing high-performance, composite-based sports equipment. SmartPly is a process where 25 layers of unidirectional carbon fibre are optimised in a single stick shaft, creating the perfect balance between weight, balance and market-leading impact resistance.
The fibre angles and the sequence of these angles can drastically affect the flex, torsional response and impact force on the club shaft.

SmartFlex is a design technology where the stiffness of the club is optimized for each shot type (very flexible). With SmartFlex, the top of the club shaft is softer, so energy is more easily loaded into the shaft. As the energy travels down the club, the shaft gradually becomes stiffer, retaining the energy exerted, which explodes out through the disc.
The result: maximum power and unparalleled accuracy.

Axenic technology is a development that combines the compression-moulded shaft and nib into a true one-piece racquet.
The process was so innovative that it won an award from the US Patent Office.
Thanks to the one-piece design, while the layers of the nib rebuild the wall thickness of the shaft, the wall of the hockey stick shaft thins upwards, creating an impressive balance. The feather is molded into the shaft without any bonding. The result is a true one-piece stick.
